Hello, new member here. Help me understand the differences in these two settings. I have an insulated garage converted to a golf simulator that gets used for 4 times a week for several hours at a time. The mini split is great but which setting is more cost effective to use. I’m not sure what exactly absence dectection does and how much saving there are vs the smart set at 10c then turning up to about 18c when needed. Any insight would be appreciated.
I’m in canada and this would be my first winter with the mini split h2i model.
I’m also a renovation contractor and have installed a few of these for clients for more general purpose supplemental heating/ cooling in older homes.
