Just upgrded t-stat to Vision Pro 8000. Had it professionally installed while they were adding humidifier.

2 Stage Bryant furnace 80%. Reason I got the upgrade was because original installer only supplied single stage stat(claiming that the furnace would look after firing both stages) Took advice from this board and upgraded anyway. Just wanted to comfirm new stat installed correctly

System on stat is set for 2 heat stage 1 cooling

Dip switch on furnace is set for t-stat to control 2 stage heating
What concerns me is that the W2 wire is not hooked up on the t-stat. Installer claims not necessary because "it is jumpered?" I only have 5 wires. The diagram shows in the "typical hookup of conventional multistage heating" that there is a wire at W2 connecting Heat Relay 2. Should I be concerned?

t stat

the red wire is your power wire,Y1 is the first stage cooling Y2 is ur second stage cooling Green G is the fan relay W1 is the first stage heat W2 is second stage heat B black is the heat cool relay and c is the common or line 2 there for if they didnt hook up that wire i dont think its working for second stage

Update. They are going to have one of their controls experts give me a call. A tech from their refridgeration division apparently has more experience with this voltage control 24v? Also, I checked the dip switch on the furnace myself and found it had NOT been changed to allow thermostat control.
