Is TruTech tools still doing a discount for H-talk folks?

If so, how does one get it?

THX!

Hmmm...

I just placed an order about 1.5 hrs ago... put in HVACTALK as a coupon or discount code... it did not discount the price.

Do I have any options, or is it a done-deal since it went through already?

PM me and I will give you the details... THX!

THX Bill!

I guess I did something wrong... I thought I put 'HVACTALK' in the coupon or discount space.

THX again for fixing it!

Have a GREAT one!

I just tried to order a veto bag and a couple Fieldpiece meters.

Tried to set up the account and it stopped and said I got the verification wrong (which I took care to get right) and when I went back, ALL the info I typed in was blank. :gah:

I'm tired and might do it later. I want to check the prices at the local parts house first anyway- might be better for warranty purposes in case something don't work.

I thought I had bought from them before, but it doesn't show me in the system.

Kangaroogod - the coupon code had a limit of 25 uses per person (system requires some kind if limit) - so you must be ordering a lot!- I just increased it to 1000- guess that is an old, unintentional setting from long ago.

The intention is for this code to "always be there" for hvactalk- so anyone should get in touch if you have any issues.

Just give us a call or email bill at trutechtools dot com with order number and we'll get your discount fixed.

Tru tech-tools are awesome!

Just a warning to all of you, I ordered the Knipex Wrenches from Chadstoolbox.com. BIG mistake! They have no customer service, the order does not go out for at least 3 days and if you don't get your order, well your screwed. I am blasting Chadstoolbox because they will not take care of paying customers. Please avoid them if you want to avoid a headache!

It is cool to get the best price... however: All retailers do NOT give the same customer service.
And is saving a $1 or so on a $500 order worth hassling with customer service, paying freight, and waiting a week or more?

TT Tools has the highest level of customer service I have found for tools in our industry.
The only reason I buy some things from Amazon... is TTT does not have them... :)

Well... I ordered an AK900 from TT Tools on Monday afternoon... we had crippling weather Tuesday night and Atlanta was shut down Wed and Thurs.
The UPS guy just came... I have it today... free shipping.

I messed up the discount codeword when I ordered... Jim Bergman fixed it for me and I got the discount.

Now show me another supply house that has this level of customer service.

I will give him one day using it... before he wonders how he ever got along without it... :)

Digital is SOOOO much better!

And IMO the AK900 is sooo easy to use... :)

The difference is: The AK is tuff! They have withstood the torture tests, especially some of us who are not nice to our tools... they just keep working.
With ANY digital set... the wires and temp probes are the weak spot... be careful with those... and you will have years and years of service from your AK900.
