There was Faulty Adaptive Control Display unit on RTAC200 Trane Chiller sticker on backside is X13650827-06 I replaced it with same number X13650827-06 from ebay. when I give it 24Vdc power it shows configured as CH531.When I installed on chiller in Report it is not showing Temperature and Pressure readings, do I need to download some software or there is some special procedure.I thought it is only plug and play display.Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

(Tech View)Is there any restriction like Licence or password or it is free to download and use. When I will hookup via serial cable will it read configuration from chiller memory. Then I will restore to Display. Please verify my understanding so that I don't damage anything.Thanks.

We're you able to back up the old 530? If you were able to you can just dump that config into your new 530. If you didn't you will need to configure the new ch530. Be careful when you do because if you tell it there is an option on the machine that it has or one that it has and doesn't then you will have serious problems and the machine might not run. Best to call a trane tech out if you can't just restore your configuration.

I believe the DynaView is only available as a complete assembly. At least from Trane. I can't speak as to what you might find on ebay... (FWIW, since I'm not the trusting type, I wouldn't buy one there)

Have you checked the contrast adjustment on the screen?

I have had This happen to me a few times...Is the Dynaview in direct sunlight? I have seen people put a sun shield above them to keep the sun from overheating the display. Its strange though i have seen these things beat hard by the sun and take it with no problem and then for whatever reason others just don't like the direct sunlight / overheating. in all cases the chiller was running with no issues just the display would disappear. One case was so bad we replaced two controllers with the same results and we ended up relocating the screen under the chiller in a pvc j-box. I have reached out to the factory on this and they say that they have seen some instances where a sun shield is used but they don't really have to many recommendations for how to fix it.

Trane has an enclosure available for the panel. Some people also use an enclosed electrical box, with a hinged door.
