I'll be 30 when looking for an apprenticeship. I already have 7 months of school(BASIC level), and a 2 month Co-op. I have the right attitude, Im done partying, and Im married with a young daughter. Will it be harder for me to find an apprenticeship in the sheet metal field than say a young guy??? I know I'll find one, just wondering how long to expect it to take.
Too old to be an apprentice???

Thats why I do not do it unless I am the only one.
In Ontario, when I wrote my ACR ticket in '86 the average age for ticket writers was 28, I was 25.
Recently the average, according to the Ministry, was 42... (Something close to the age of leaving home)
It's never too late to be useful.

gruntly...get to work, you mean with having more kids, or literally...*Laughs*. Im too busy for one now with school and all. I at least don't have to worry about working. There are some 18 & 19 year olds that work almost full time while attending school. But their marks are showing that fact as well.
