I was at one of our job sites today and thought I would share some pictures from the San Francisco Airport T2 remodel. Our equipment was retro fitted in Custom Huntair Airhandlers. The CFM is any where between 85,000 to 126,000 cfm on 10 different units. I have to install almost 600 five foot UVGI lamps to illuminate the PCOs within the next 2 months and I hope to see the first HVAC unit started later in July. I don't think the job will commision until spring next year.

Why so many five foot bulbs on only 10 AHU?

The two biggest units are 28 feet wide and 8 feet tall. Around 120,000 cfm
The smallest units on the job site 18 feet wide and 10 feet tall. The cooling space is some where around 640,000 sq feet.
The UV lamps activate a PCO. There is a certain amount of UV wattage it takes to get the PCOs full potential.

I didn't know it takes a certain wattage to activate the PCO, interesting. Those are huge AHU, you don't come across those as often anymore. That's a nice job in this economy.
