LOL

They had better get some pitching from him....and fast.

We have Dice-K, Curt, Wakefield, and Beckett.
We are even getting some good outings from Tavarez.
With a solid bullpen, we will dominate the Yanks.
Go Sox.

Yeah, Baston tried to get him earlier this week for 18 million. NY had virtually no pitching staff due to injuries and they're in 2nd place. Gee, Ny has 26 world championships to less than a handful of Baston's. Even Tom Brady wears a Yankee hat. Grins

Holy Smokes! Teams are hitting Rivera at a .325 clip. Can you say WASHED UP? His ERA is 8 something. Yikes.

How's the Pavano deal working out anyway?

<snicker>

Um...and didn't Boston...(note the spelling Gunslinger) take 5 of 6 from them Yanks. And didn't they light up Pettite? OMG...I can't stand it.
You guys are in deep $hit

:D

Okijima is lights out. ERA .61

Donnelly ERA 1.04

Paps ERA 1.59

Beckett - 6 and 0

WOW!

It's a long season. Mo never does well the first month. Yeah, they took 5 out of 6 from a rookie burned out overworked bullpen. Watch NY turn it around. Ten rookies pitched 30 games; Could have cried watching 4 consecutive home runs. Maybe NY will sign Bucky Dent.

i think he went to NY to be able to shower with Petite again. He followed him over here to Houston and now the 2 are back in each others arms once again.

the phrase: wonder who is pitching and who is catching comes to mind

MISSION CONTROL to Rocket.....uh...you're not pitching in the minor ....uh...I mean National League anymore.

See you @ Fenway 1st week of June. Bring your earplugs.

come on now, the NL is not minor league. Although the Astros are not hitting, we have some damn good power when they wake up.

You're Roger Clemens. Who would you rather pitch against...John Smoltz or David Ortiz?

National League...#9 hitter is a freebie. Now take him out and put Jason Giambi or Big Papi in there. It becomes a little tougher to get outs.

I agree, hehe......although they suck on my fantasy baseball team.

I really hope he gets lit up over there. His "final" year before retirement "again" will not be picture perfect.

There's 2 games this year I'm dying to see.

Trot Nixon, who only played for the Sox his whole career, was not offered a contract and signed with the Indians. He will get a thunderous ovation.

Roger comes back to Fenway. I don't think he'll get the Trot Nixon or Dave Roberts treatment. He WILL get shelled in his first trip back to Boston.
