I have a site that has a desktop PC running Summit V17.00.0074, SP 4

The Customer requested I load another Summit Software, V17.00.0046.
I was able to load this version on a Laptop and get it Registered.

But I cannot find where I can download SP4.
I'm pretty sure Summit V17 went up to SP9.
Can I download SP9 to both and get all the previous Service Pak updates?
Or do I have to update in a certain order?

If SP9 will do it, can soneone send me the Link? It used to be free. I couldn't find it, even on the Comfort Site.

If I'm not mistaken, V17 is at SP10 update 1. It is available on comfortsite. Click on tech support/software updates and tools/software service packs.

And the service pack will encompass all updates since the base v17 so you only need to run the newest release service pack rather than all of the previous ones combined.

Is it possible to confirm that I can use SP10 for both without any problems?

BTW, the reason I think I need the SP is after I loaded the Base V17 Software and got it Registered, I added the Base Pc's Database and Graphics to the Laptops Backup Folder. I then did a Database/Graphic Restore.
When I tried to Configure the Site, I got an Error Window that said "Summit is missing BCU_1725.IMG. I copied that file from the Base PC's Summit/Bin Folder to the same location in the Laptop's Summit but got the same Error Window again.
Do you think the SP will solve this issue?

You can run both machines at service pack 10 update 1, so just get them both up there. It will not hurt anything.

do the 3d graphics thing before adding the service packs if you're using them. i haven't been able to get the 3D graphics to work unless i added them before loading the service packs.

Thanks for the heads up, but no 3D Graphics at this Site.
I have never ran into them.
What's the File Extension on them?

On the install CD there is a graphics folder. In there will be a sub folder for 2d and 3d graphics. You just copy all the graphics out of the 3D folder and place them in your standard folder on the PC.

I just was at the ComfortSite/Tech Support, and there is no Software Updates for Summit SP's.
I also checked Trane Tools and couldn't find it there either.
Any ideas where I may look for the SP10, Update 1 ?

I have 13 options on that page. I work there but then I also dont use comfortsite normally. We have our own setup to use.

Click on tech support and you will see the software update option, click on that and you will see the updates.

Good News, I am not going insane.
As explained to me yesterday by a Support Tech from ComfortSite:

I am a "Customer" who pays for ComfortSite, not a Corporate Client. So I cannot have access to the Software Updates/Downloads.
He directed me to Register my Customer's Summit Auth Key at www.mytranecontrols.com to begin the registration process.
This will allow my Customer, and myself to access the Software Updates/Downloads everyone else seems to see but me.
Bottom line, I would have to buy my own Version of Summit to gain access
to the Software Updates/Downloads. Never had to as I've always used my
Customers software.

BTW, he also told me there are 377 total Trane "sites" available...several times.
