Should I just X it out ?

I have not yet seen that one, so I don't know what it's for. You can X it, but it will just be replaced by a new one.

If it's really bothering, you, you can try an ad blocker.

Ads will be a necessary evil for the continuation of this forum. There are considerable expenses involved in keeping it live.

I will hand it to their marketing department.
That's the first time I've ever looked up there at a add 😃
You know how people who live by train tracks never hear the train 😆

You can click the "X" to make it go away or the button to the left and tell Google that you are not interested or it is inappropriate and you will not see it again.

Did you go there and see what it was ?
I haven't seen the add since.
They must rotate them here like on the electronic billboards off the highway.
 
If the owners open the site for advertising by Google, the ads are randum.

Just click next to the X and tell google you do not wat to see the ad.
