Slim ahu that mounts vertically

I know midea makes a medium static slim ahu that can mount vertically to a wall. Who else is capable? I am in need of a 18-20 ton system with 4/4½-5 ton heads. They spec'd concrete encased uninsulated ducting and we are looking for other options. Its easy to convince them to furr a wall out 18-24 inches for mechanical closets and storage. Not so much for mechanical rooms. I should specify this is for a.. well... hall I guess. Just one giant room. Thanks for the input.

Thats typical. But we are refusing to do underground ducting. As far as the static goes it doesn't matter. More the type of unit. I've heard people say pancake units, slim ducted, ceiling concealed..... it was just my way of making it obvious what I was looking for.

This is what I can come up with. The area in-between AHU's could become storage. But they were specing 10x60 rectangular duct incased in concrete. They don't make rectangular only round. That gets translated to a 28inch round. I should note they were all to tie together and be run underground from a mechanical shed. Stupid engineers and designers. May walk if they won't change it.

Aren’t the slim duct units maxed around a 36-48k? The ones I’ve dealt with were smaller and I don’t think they were able to handle many elbows in the duct system. I think at the time, someone recommended a very close linear register. Those were Mitsubishi and it was several years ago so I could be completely wrong.

I believe mitsu goes up to 54K but they have to stay horizontal. These would have 1 elbow. Basically the plenum would rise then turn to the wall to meet with the supply register. RA would have a large filter rack set up on it with a transfer grill on the door. Or shorten the door and put a transfer grill on the wall. Im hopeful this would work but I don't recall who other than midea(Bryant, Carrier) offers this option. I though Fujitsu but the rep was trying to sell me on a multi position AHU. Its much easier to sell when you take up minimal space.

Fujitsu does have some larger capacity slim ducted. I must have taken a nap in some of the classes. You might ask your rep about the aruh models, they are probably what your looking for but I don’t know if they are for a vertical install. My local Fujitsu distributor wouldn’t have any idea, they are not the most knowledgeable about anything in their system.
