Now that my wife has cut my leash and I am by myself to do as I please. I've always wanted pet tarantulas, I have an entimology facination that goes back to my childhood and I especially like spiders. I have been looking at those poisinous centipeeds too. I like the jiant plant eating millipeads as well, I kinda want to have a big terarium with exotic nasties in it. I saw a place that will sell the most poisinous scorpion if they feel you are experienced enough to handle it. I also saw a 8" bird eating taranchula for 400$ WOW! It was described as being as dosile as a pet dog, fu(*%$ cool man, I want one!

You're gonna hurt yerself yet, Johnny.:p

Get a woman. Not the type that thinks that a day and a half is enough recovery time form brain surgery before you need to remodel a room, but a good one.

Hmmm weird pets

I have up to four emporer scorpins and two regualr turantulas I WOULD NEVER GET THE MILLIPEDES if worse comes to worse with the scorpians and the teratulas if you get bitten its like a bee sting ( and yes I have been by both)

the stinking milllipede will start nercroses and eat away at your skin and your hand will feel like its on fire and you will get very sick very fast so just stay away from them , when we were down in St.Kitts one of the people that we were with got bite and he was in the hospital for two days and very sick for the rest of the time

Just one thing to remember if you drop them they will die since they have no blood cloting formula in the blood so once they start bleeding they cant and die

also dont put your turantula in with the scorpians since the scorpians always win
alright! regular tarantulas,.. like the kind I'm looking at? The red leg and flame knee are desert tarantulas and just require arid tanks, they are considered dosile and good "beginner" spiders. The millipeeds and centipeeds give me the creeps really but thats why I like them so much. I like danger too, but I am also afraid of poisonous spiders,.. ya know scorpions give me the creeps just as bad as the centipeeds do. The sun scorpions are even more creepy dont ya think? Their is a place in Texas that sells the weird cave scorpions,.. whip scorpions, real weird.

I guess I'd better not have anything poisonus around me for the sake of my girls visiting but the mexican desert tarantulas are not poisonous,.. well at least not enough to be life threatening.

What about the bird spiders,.. they catch the birds with great big orb webs, so do you got to let them make a big ass orb web in your house? One of them suckers was like 6-7" adult,.. heheheheh, awsome,.ttheheheheh

You'll never get laid

again with those in your home.

I babysat an abandoned orange kneed one for about a month till I get it into the Baltimore Zoo's outreach program. I just could never get myself to hold the thing.

I hate dogs! When I was 6yo I had to walk two city blocks to the school kinder-8th. My sisters and I were on our way one day and passing this tall dog fence, we knew there was a mean ass dog in there and so I was always afraid to walk by. Shure enough that one fathfull day the owner sigged the dog on us as we walked to our school. We all took off running, my sisters had bikes and I was trying to hop on the back of my one sisters bannana seat when that bastard bite my ass off. Never liked dogs since then. You'd think my sisters would face the dog with me but I think they used me to placate the bastard so's they all could get away.

I fu(&%$ hate birds too! I like low maintenance, so big snake is out because I hear reptiles can be high maintenance. I like bugs,... big, ugly, nasty, BUGS! Creepy, crawly,.. the kind that gives you the chills. I like to have poisinous bugs but I am afraid to have such things and still have children around, so I will refrain. I wonder if anyone has tried to keep driver ants in captivity. Now those would be cool to watch,.. not just your typical ant farm, could put a small animal in there and watch it get killed and eaten. Don't want to let those things get out, I hear they maintain a clearing of like 50yards of jungle or something like that. 50 yards of terratory they compleatly clean of all ground dwelling insects or animals. It was either 50 yards or feet, either way its impressive. Their is one other spider I have considered to have, the trap door spider, but it is poisonous. I don't know how poisinous though, it got one skull and cross bones vs the black widow got three, so how bad is that? It would have to be coaxed to make its burrow next to the glass somehow and then it would be something to see durring feeding time. They said to be carfull not to get near the trap door though or it will get you.
