You can expose niagara programming blocks to BACnet directly using that.

What I do quite a bit is use a third party driver like Trane Comm 4 maxline and discover points from that equipment. You can then for example take the discovered room temperature point and export that to be readable via BACnet AI directly. Discovered setpoints can be exposed to a writeable AV point etc. No other microblocks needed.

 

This is often used to translate pretty much anything into Bacnet. Controllers come into the jace as LON, ASD, etc. Comes out BacnetIP.

 

I “link mark” from Niagara to LON or BACNET networks right now. Does this not accomplish the same thing??
