I am trying to be proactive and purchase a couple of capacitors in advance of the summer in case on goes out.

I have a Trane XR Model Number 4TTR6048J1000AA. Please see picture.

I took the panel off to take a picture of the capacitor. Please see picture.

I just cannot seem to decipher this and/or find online.

I know that this might seem easy but any help in finding a link for a new one would be appreciated.

Apologies for being such a newb.

Thanks.

Abe

The forum rules do not allow us to assist with sourcing parts for your HVAC system, as we do not allow DIY questions.

Capacitors are a HIGH VOLTAGE component in your outdoor system, and require extreme care when replacing them to ensure your safety.

We highly recommend you reach out to a contractor when replacing this component.

Thanks for your understanding, and sorry we could not be of assistance.

Please revisit this forum when you have a non technical HVAC question.

Ok. Appreciate the reply. This really is a complete waste of a forum then. Just need to figure out how to leave it.
Contrary to what you might think, we have thousands of satisfied homeowners that truly appreciate the "non technical" assistance we provide.

We hate to see you leave, but if you feel the need to do so, just don't sign in again.

To the OP,

The ting is you have all the information you need to get a replacement part, yet you don't know it.

This forum has rules to protect them, us and YOU from doing any damage to YOU or your equipment. YOU agreed to the terms of this site.

In my eyes, YOU have shown that YOU cannot follow directions AND cannot order a part when YOU have all the information. How can YOU be trusted to not do any harm to your equipment or YOURSELF?!?!?!?!
