On the Manitowoc S-Models, I have found more bad circuit boards than I have found on the Q, J or B-Models. I think the S-Model board is of lesser quality than the others were.

i see alot of S machines & have only replaced one board .. per manitowocs recomendations ... all others have issues relating to the water system .. most with the water level light illuminated but trough is empty & i receive alot of false calls .. most for water curtain being stuck open .. either by magic as its not being held open by anything, or during harvest ice sheet breaks apart & little pieces hold curtain open, & ive seen ice from a regular full bin take a very long time to melt preventing freeze cycle .. after discussing this with many of my customers & telling them what to look for .. ive been told i have saved alot of them from calling me for no reason
