I’m working on a package unit that has inducer fan turning on and blower but no flame. Inducer fan and blower continually run until I disconnect red and white or pull disconnect. Gasket on collector box is a bit worn out but seems to be pulling a vacuum since inducer fan doesn’t shut down. Could this be the limit switch?

Do you know what the sequence of operation is for this unit? Do you know how to read a wiring diagram? Do you know how to use a multi-meter?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions, then you should be able to figure out your answer. Good luck!

Your description sounds like a homeowner rather than a technician. What have you measured?
Additionally, the “general” forum is the wrong one. Tech to tech would be the correct forum. Click on the small black triangle at the bottom of your post and ask a moderator to move it. Then provide some credentials that you are a technician. Then give the model and serial number of the unit AND what you have measured, not just wire colors and observations.

Your profile says you are an HVACR contractor.
Perhaps you meant that you WORK FOR an HVACR contractor, and you are in your first week on the job.
If that is the case, we will need more from you about what you did, and why, and what the test results were.
In addition, get a more seasoned tech to help you from your company, and then come back and tell us about that. After 15 substantive posts, you can use the link in my signature area to apply for Pro member ship, and submit you credentials at that time.
