is the liquid line filter drier installed in the right direction

a liquid line drier was installed on my new miller 5 ton unit it was installed at the compressor on the 3/4 copper line with the arrow pointing away from the compressor. On the drier shell (in) is marked leading to compressor. Did the service tech.installed it in the right direction. The drier is a emerson liquid line filter drier # adk083s (ek & bok filter drier). please help.

sorry, yes the line is a 3/8 copper line. Thanks guys for your help.

Sounds like its installed in the proper direction.

The ADK 083 drier would fit a 3/8" copper tube.Not 3/4" and yes the arrow
would point away from the compressor.

If it's on the 3/8" liquid line with the arrow pointing away from the condenser it's right.
If it's on the 3/4" line it's not a liquid line drier.

suction dryer goes on large line arrow toward compressor.
Liquid line goes on small line pointing to the indoor coil. I would like to know the specs on that unit 3/4 inch seems small for 5 ton.
