I am studying for a test, and have a couple questions I am stuck on, if anyone knows anything about them I would appreciate some help!

The standard operation conditions are ___evaporator temp, and ___ condensor temp.

on a 2 stage compressor which stage will have the greater compression ratio? 1 or 2

After an osha report is given to an employer is he required to post the information?

What is the standard static pressure for designing ductwork?

Scaffolding is rated at 700 lbs. what is the max # of people allowed on it?

A furnace with 1,000,000 BTU input needs how many sq. IN of combustion?

A fuel oil storage tank burns 500 gal a day what is the min # of gal. the tank should hold?

Water Velocity is limited in a boiler to how many ft. per second?

how many BTUS must be removed to cool 20 gal. of water from 80 degrees to 40?

if an oil burner chimney flue is 100 sq. in what percentage can the damper be shut off?

What should you do if an employee reports to work with burns?
A. nothing
B. require a doctors approval before returning to work
C. Send him home

I'd ask him where he got the frickin burns...... :argue:

If he fell in a camp fire drunk last night I would choose:

D. Fire the dumass.

I never seen a storage tank burn but I think i would call the fire dpartment
How many days do you want the fire to burn? I can't believe I'm sitting here trying to figure out a formula for this. I've got to get out of school.

To me, all questions and the ability to answer them is important, but what are you testing for exactly? It takes 40 btu's to change one pound of water from 80 to 40. I can't remember off the top of my head, but it seems like we have 8-9 pounds per gallon for water.

8.33 pounds per gallon at 50°F.
