Yeah, knowing which direction to install cap tubes can be technically challenging. But if you hang out for awhile, the answer will be revealed. You like to study at all?

That above link is a jewel I found on this site. I've been doing this for thirty years and that document taught me things I didn't know, well, more at the theoretical level of understanding, but it was nice to get some of those answers.

Rock on Dude !!

I personally have never had to replace capillary tubes. Everything I have worked has either been fixed orifice or TXV. The only time I have messed with cap tubes on a evaporator is when tearing out the old equipment to put in new.

Thanks for the link. I am sure I will enjoy it the next time the wife is watching one of her chick flicks
And with that, in nine posts no less - he discovers the true reason for hvac-talk.

Well, hmmmm, let's consider this . . . Isn't the devil an angle?

Albeit a fallen angel.
An "angel" is a messenger.

Satan used to be a messenger, but when he was cast out, he was one no longer. Now, he is a demon.

Both are a part of life my friend, and very important to the working man.

I try to avoid talking religion and politics on forums. I have never seen a quicker way to stir the pot than to bring up religion and politics.
