Gree Ductless Split F0 Error

Sorry guys I don't have the m# s/n on hand atm but heres a quick rundown...

Customer bought a Gree ductless split with 2 heads and 3 port condenser online(oh boy -_-). Installed them, install went fairly smooth. Both heads ran fine for one day, pretty much all day long.

Next day, the F0 error code is displayed after running for about 20 mins. Shut off disconnect and reset, same thing happens. Shut off breaker same thing happens. The F0 error code is indoor ambient sensor fault(after researching online, bc of course they didn't come with an installation or service manual:eek2:). The harness for the sensor is plugged in main pc board just fine.

Does anyone know what the resistance should be on these sensors? Also, what is the com manual harness for these things? It is unplugged and I don't see a spot for it. 4 wire harness.

First and last Gree I install I can tell you that much lol.

Only one head is throwing this code btw

Its the big O, or 0, not Fo. Im sure Ill be there again tomorrow so I'll get the m#. The error code FO is displayed on the unit as FO with no flashes that I was able to see.

Side note, do you like Gree? Their not popular around here as this is one of the few I've seen

Are all the heads in the same mode? IIRC, we had a service call a couple weeks back with a weird code on a multizone unit, and it turned out to be one head was in a different mode than the others. We install Gree and have had mixed results - most of the issues are board related in the heads.

Ahh, interestinggg. The heads are pretty close to each other as well. The first head is located through the first set of doors off the plaza sidewalk, then their is a second set of doors and the second head is right there to the left so they are virtually ten feet apart from each other. That will be something to check.

I'm just trying to exhaust all possibilities before I replace this PC board

I just went through the Gree Training with Gerry Wagner.....he was screaming "IT'S NEVER THE BOARD"

if the unit is throwing a E7, thats a conflict error code I think, one head is calling for heat, the other for cooling. You can assign one indoor unit as the "Mode master"

Not real sure about a F0 code?
