Ive been reading some of the threads on people integrating a Trane LCI-I board into the FX40. Im trying to do this with no luck. Im creating a new dynamic device, discovering the LCI-I board, matching the two, commissioning the new device, then choosing the LcirDac80002A560N30404.lnml. When I proxy the points they dont look right and dont update. I saw where codewriter used the LciI80002A560A030402.lnml, I dont seem to find that file in any of my lonTrane modules.

I dont know anything about FX40s but I know a little about LON. You must be sure that you are using the correct XIF file for the system that you are working with. The lnml files that you mention in your post are for 2 different units and 2 different Trane comm boards. The safest way is to upload the file from the device, but I cant tell you how to do that in your system.

The XIF file that you are trying to use is for a DAC comm board, 'Discharge Air Controller, typically found in a Trane VAV rooftop. Code's file is for an Intellipak unit. These can also be setup for VAV but have an Intellipak controller in them.

FYI,
LCI-I= Lon communication interface Intellipak
LCI-R= Lon communication interface reliatel(voyager)

The file that you stated was lcirdac.....which would be for a voyager RTU,but you say that you have an LCI-I board which would be for an Intellipak. Be sure that you have the right type of equipment/board (Intellipak or voyager.)

I am have never done this with an FX40 but with Tridium we usally just goto the Lon device manager and learn in an LCI-I a typical LCI-I is an SCC in our experince. Attached are a couple of different files that may help. You can always goto http://www.lonmark.org/certifications/device_certification/product_catalog/ Select Trane from the list. They have all the XIF avalible. good luck. Sorry it won't let me attach it. I will try to e-mail you.

uploading doesnt work. I did get it to work. My problem is I had an old lonTrane.jar, once I updated to the new one and found the LciI.lnml discovered the points and then proxyed them everything works fine.
