Went to a lack of cooling call on Friday afternoon, about all I had time to do was noticed the condenser coil and housing were really hot. The fan was running, but thunder storm's were rolling in and the sky opened and it poured, so that's why I don't have anymore facts. Customer went away for the weekend so Monday is the day I'm going back. What would cause the unit to get this hot? Unit was a Goodman 2.5 or 3 ton, AH in attic of a raised ranch, OD temp that day was high 80's. Thanks

Condenser fan motor overheats and stops due to worn bearings or bad run cap, the compressor eventually goes out on internal overload because there isn't a high pressure switch. Everything is very hot.
Sometimes a failed dual run cap with do the same thing.

Hope the customer didn't go out to Amity Island ! They need to listen to Chief Watkins advice.

STAY OUT OF THE WATER !!

Mayor Vaughn is telling everybody it was a boating accident but Brody knows better !

" This was no boat accident! " See, I told you he knew better.

But Quint is on the case. After keeping a desperate secret for 30 odd years of surviving the U.S.S. Indianapolis which left him with a blood thirst for shark meat he'll gladly hunt down that doll eyed shark.....for 10,000 dollars thank you very much !

You see Quints "neck" is valued at quite a bit more than 3000 dollars !

But just in case, they may need a bigger boat.

And Scene...

You know I let my kiddos watch that movie when they were old enough and they looked at me like I was crazy. You think THIS movie is scary ????

So desensitized with their games and CGI horror films..
