As long as you have a fixed orifice (not a txv) it won't matter what the refrigerant is.

All you're doing with the target SH calculation is including the latent load in the space, to see where SH should be.

IDWB X 3 - 80 - ODB / 2 = TSH

After you get the system to the proper TSH and running,do this, because when done properly the TSH and the rest of the refrigeration system is "in balance" w/ itself ,just the way it is supposed to be.Good head,suction,etc. Now is a perfect time grab a "free feel",ALL OVER, a lot of free feels and see(feel) what a good running system feels like. Stick your nose in the cond coil discharge air and take in a slow breath thru your nose. Memorize those sensations and feel up every single system you ever work on,forever, and then you can KindaSorta,get to "know" when a system needs a better looking at.
