Any one have the specifics?

Bristol Condensing unit
Model # CM10B822CA
Serial # ENUM514601

That doesn't look like a Bristol number but it does look like a ColdFlow model number. They're a manufacturer in Miami that use a lot of Bristols.

If I find a good website for them I'll post back.

I have never seen a Bristol condensing unit either until today. Next time I go back I will take pictures of the tag.

Here is a link for indentifying your compressor.

Bristol has not made any medium temp compressors since the early 90's I believe.
They are in some old manitowocs and taylor ice cream machines. but never seen a unit.
well according to the model number system you have a
1)medium temp compressor
2) R-12
3)it has no pressure relief valve
4)its a model b reciprocating compressor
5) its 8020 btu I would guess. if I knew what it was off of I could venture a better guess.
6) its a PSC motor
7)its internal line break
8)is 208-230/1/60
9)and compressor mounts are 4.8 x 8.0

if its 8000 btu at 20deg like I suspect. you can put a brand new american made copeland condensing unit, it will have either an "R" or "C" compressor. and those are american made. :)
