This week is our annual fall festival. They close down about 6 blocks on the city's west side from Mon - Sat night. There are rides, games and over 120 booths serving any type of food(mostly fried) you can think of. All the booths are operated by non-profit orginazations as fund raisers; churches, school bands, athletic clubs etc. With the good weather we've had this week they're averaging 65-70,000 people per day. That includes people going out for lunch time too. http://www.nutclub.org/ I think it's the second largest annual outdoor event in the US. Only Mardi Gras attracts more people.

I love any festival. We are going camping this weekend in KY and they are having a Wool Festival ? Not sure what I'm in for but there will be lots of pretty sheep I bet.

Unfortunately they don't serve beer here as part of the festival. You can bring your own or there are plenty of bars along the strip where you can go in to relax while the wife and kids play games and rides

Yea, right I will also be relaxing with my husband: AKA;MattM., while our children play games. Etc., so on & son forth and scooby dooby doo.

Hey Y did we miss out on the greatest festival., in the USA. KBA Octoberfest ZInzinnati. Remember the year when we went last, which was many yrs ago. We had a blast. I enjoyed it. Wonder where that picture is at, that we had taken of us together. It wasthe one where U put your face in the frame and we looked like a hot Irish couple.
