I cant cook for my life and my wife isn't feeling good. She's probably going to have a baby very soon. She not allowed to be on her feet for too long doctors orders. Need some ideas because my other 4 kids and I are getting hungry. I'm not a big fan of fast food. Thanks

Ya, we have five kids, all over 19 now but I remember days like this...

Breakfast for dinner was a fave... also steak and homefries... If the kids don't care much for steak, like mine didn't, they'll probably eat it and enjoy it if you can barby it, cut it thin 3/16" thick and salt it nicely... This works with even the cheapest steak, just don't kill it by over cooking it. The salt at the end seems to act like a tenderizer.

Also raw veggies... Kids love raw veggies. specially carrots.

If the kids didn't like it I used to find it hidden anywhere in the kitchen ;)
Everybody in the house loves home fries and taters. Thats just what we do with the steak cut real thin and medium rare. The kids will yell at me if its too thick and over cooked. Veggies on the grill we all love. One good thing to look forward too in the Spring.

Why wait for spring to grill.

It's 25 degrees, there is a foot and a half of snow on the ground and we had pizza and grilled wings for dinner.

I grill 12 months a year.
Your right.I should get the old Vermont out. Throw some burgers on the grill stuffed with blue cheese. Bo ya get some T bones. I told my wife were going have more sea food this year. Lobster tails and claims on the grill. My moth is watering and I just ate an hour ago.Thank God for a fast metabolism.

Grilling hamburgers, my sons and I raised a Black Angus steer, we had it processed and it is delicious. We have about 6 months worth of meat left. We do this about every other year. You can really taste the difference from store bought beef.
Send some up this way. The only organic food we eat is chicken eggs right in the back yard, and my buddy always brings me venison. Its amazing how different the eggs are.
