And completed, whether you made money our not?
Mine was pulling a mobile home 500 miles from South Texas to Lubbock.
I bought a 62 Chevy 2 1/2 to truck in 86 for $300. Went through the whole thing fixing it up for a year. A 6 cylinder engine, but with a two speed axle. My saving grace!
This was for my father, who at the time was 55. He decided to quit his job as a construction worker to get a college degree.
We built a metal rack off the back of this 14'x 70' trailer to hold the packaged unit like a new install. Off this rack we made a trailer hitch to pull my 76 Honda Civic. The whole thing was over 120'foot long.
I built the mirrows, 16 foot wide.
1st day from Victoria to Austin. 2nd day from Austin to Abilene, third day to Lubbock. What a ride. It was nice to young.
My father got his degree and we pulled the mobile home again to the coast. He is 73 now. Roy

The Coker Unit, Was it turnaround or did those operator's blow the thing up? You can turn damn near anything in to motor fuel. I saw the other day where some guy was taking dead cats and turning them into diesel fuel. What were the hoses for? Roy

There is still a bowling alley around here with no automatic pin setters. The teenage boys of this town called Blanco does the setting afterschool and on weekends. Blanco is about 20 miles from Luckenbock. Where Willie and Waylon and the boys do their thing.

That is the way I answer the phone when the plant calls me in on my day off.... Hello? Friend or enema? Then I go to work and take it. Roy
