They did have a required adjustment several years ago, where the motor leads needed to be rotated to the bottom and a drip loop added to the wiring. It didn’t effect me in the desert, but I’m sure anywhere there’s a lot of moisture it’d be a problem. I’ve had very few motors fail, it’s typically very high static that I find with failed motors.
