I’ve searched this site & the Internet and found tons of information on IAQ products that I know about and many that I didn’t. However, I am trying to address a very specific issue for a customer and I’m not sure that there is any one product on the market that addresses it. The customer’s daughter has a severe sensitivity to formaldehyde and is looking for an IAQ solution.
It’s looking like several products will be needed to address this issue. My opinion to this point is to use the Lennox PureAir to provide basic filtration along with reducing bioaerosols and VOCs, install an ERV to provide fresh air exchange and possibly install a room air cleaner like the IQAir GCMultigas system in the daughter’s room to hopefully provide a clean room that she can retreat to.
Has anyone had a similar situation that was satisfactorily solved and what products did you use and what do the members with far greater IAQ knowledge than I have think of the combination I’ve proposed?
