I have a Tridium Jace box I want to use for monitoring third party BACnet devices. I read in Tridium documentation that "As a standard feature, JACE’s support BACnet IP client to enable them to communicate with BACnet
IP based equipment and devices. EC-SP is not needed for BACnet IP client capability".
But I would like to see how it is done actually. Is it Plug N Play capability - you just do BACnet discovery and it will discover all BACnet objects and add them to network? Or you have to manually specify the device ID, IP address etc..? I went to one of the Tridium distributes demo site and saw a BACnet network with couple of devices. But is there any information preferably with screen shots which shows how third party BACnet devices get added to the Jace front end?

Thank you

Thank you Dave - I found it - that's what I needed!
Make sure that your Bacnet devices support the poll/learn feature - most do but some dont!. If they dont then you will need to get points and arrays from the manufacture and lump them in by hand!.

Niagara AX BACnet Guide

The "Niagara AX BACnet Guide" has step by step instructions for setting up a BACnet network and discovery of devices. It's pretty easy.
Could someone please provide this documentation via link or email? It would be greatly appreciated because I am currently working on a project which requires BACnet IP communication from multiple campus building JACE 403's and JACE 600's.

Thanks.
