I'm going to replace the HVAC system in my Home soon.
The old system is original (33Years old) and is very inefficient.
The Home is aprox 2.5Ton and is on natural Gas.
The Furnace is located in the Basement so from what I've read it'll have to be an up draft system, am I right?
I've been trolling the internet, trying to decide which is the most efficient system and I think I've narrowed it down to 2.
If anyone has any suggestions as to a Co that makes something better I'm all Ears.
Right now it's between Bryant's Hybrid Heat, evolution plus 95s paired with the evolution 2 speed Heat Pump and Thermostat, versus Trane's XC95 communicating Furnace paired with the XL19i Heat Pump.
I've read where Bryant has the better Thermostat as far as controlling when the system changes over from Heat Pump to Gas Heat but Trane has it's pluses too.
I'm also going to get the Air purifier with which ever system I go with so that's a factor as well. They both look like very good systems.
Anyway, my question is, which system would a professional HVAC Tech install in their own Home?
