Also i will get alarm for evap water flow overdue as the chiller wants to control the pump but the bms is and sometimes a low evap temp unit off.
And right here is the problem. The IOM specifically states that the chiller must control the pumps. There is also a sticker on the front of the chiller that stated this.

I don't think there's anything that say you can't control the pump from both. Have 2 RIB relays, one labeled chiller and the other, BMS. That way, if the chiller needs to run the pump, it can. If they want to cycle it through the BMS, it can. If the BMS crashes, you can still run the chiller in local and it'll control the pump.
Just a thought.
That is allowed and done all the time.

There's a setting in the CH530 that only Trane can change for your Freeze protection setpoint. You need to contact them. Was it originaly purchased for Glycol? If so, the factory start-up tech should have set it according to your % of Glycol in your system.
There are no settings in the RTAC CH530 controller that only Trane techs can set.

It's kestrelView. It has a higher authority than TechView to change the units configuration. Go ahead and try to change your freeze protection setpoint.... It won't work without KestrelView.
You are absolutely 100% wrong. TechView has the same set points as KestrelView. The only thing KestrelView has that TechView doesn’t have is better reports, trending, and different binding view. And you can trend with TechView using Microsoft Excel.

I see you’re new here. You are going to start another huge fight posting that inaccurate information about KestrelView and saying the OP has to call Trane to change the freeze set points.

So what you're saying is, Trane is going to let anybody get in and change the unit's configuration? Could you imagine what kind of warranty nightmare that would be for Trane? I can see it now..." Oh Mr. customer go ahead and change our configuration to whatever you feel might work." "As log as it's under warranty we'll fix it for free." "After all we're Trane and we have all the money in the world." They've been there done that enough to know that customers can be there own worst enemies.
Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. Anyone with TechView can change any configurations and setpoints they want.

Now if the customer or contractor changes the configuration and screws up the chiller, that’s on them. The Trane startup tech should have a copy of the original startup report in Comfortsite.

There was a time when air-cooled chillers didn't have a standard factory startup, but that was several years ago. I believe it changed with the RTAA and it's requirement to control the chilled water pump. Our office saw problems with no factory startup, and we convinced the salesmen to include it in their pricing. Then later, the factory included a startup. That was with RTAAs. I think RTACs hit the market with a factory startup include. And required. And CGAMs.
Everything you said is correct except RTAC’s RTAA’s and scrolls originally didn’t have factory startups paid by the factory. That was changed about 10 years ago. Our office always provided startup and the salesman put the cost in the chiller.
