We have a new customer who has Tracer Summit for their facility which is 6 years old. They would like us (the contractor) to receive their alarms. I went to the site and looked at the Summit front end with the thought of setting up the alarms so that they can be emailed using email forwarding. I noticed that they do not currently have Outlook on the computer, so I have requested that they install it on the same machine with Tracer Summit.
I looked briefly in the PDF doc files, but had only come across instructions on setting up BCU modem, modem and pager. I did not see instructions on setting up outlook and/or email forwarding via Summit.
What setup procedures will I need to do in order to get Outlook to talk with Tracer Summit and forward their alarms via email?
