I was over at a friends of mine discussing my possibilities of
getting into the HVAC/R line of work full-time.
As we were talking, I realized that I'm my own worst enemy.
You see I'm "almost 50", and the clock is running against me.
I felt that with my limited experience no one could possibly
pay me as much as I need to make to make ends meet.
I have a daughter in college(Deans list, Presidents letter,
and she's listed in the "Who's Who")and a 12 yr old son at home.
So as you can see, I need bucks.
Well after taking my 12 mile "over the mountain and through the
woods" trip home, I realized that I needed to take action.
Now, with that being said, do I start with a small companies
and work my way "up" to the big companies or do I go visa versa?
You have to understand, I will have to take on a night job doing
something to bring in the extra cash; no matter which way I go.
No one can afford to pay me what I need to sustain.
I have no extras in life, just utilities and rent, vehicle ins,
and tools(I love buying tools) ect...
My theory is, I want to make someones service vehicle some money!
(Hell, I might not even get a vehicle)
I don't want to be a "Super hero", I'll call for help!
In short, which direction should I go to get the money?
Don't bust my chops, I've already done that to myself.
I just need advice (kind advice).
