I worked for the local Staefa Dealer for 8 years, when I left they where just getting into AX and what I saw didn't work so well. In R2 it worked pretty well what issues are you having and what system is it on?

Thanks for getting back to me. Here is what I need to do, I have to demonstrate to a customer that a Staefa VAV controller can stay on the same network with a true LON open system controller and they both can be connected to a Tridium R2 panel. Do you have any installation PDF for this Staefa controller and I am not sure if I need to have the XIF file or the plug In for the controller or nor? Thanks for your help.

Are you adding a new device to a Staefa System or adding the VAV to a differant system? Staefa does not have plug ins and to my knowlege they do not release .xif files. I did not know what an .xif file was untill I left my former employer. If its an existing Steafa System the .jar file should be up to date if not you may be in for a fun ride. Look for the shadow object in your library c/niagara/v5??/tridiumx/londevices/staefa the shadow objects are there .

All LonMark certified product xif's can be found on the LONmark site. Also there is a Plug-In for this device contact your local Staefa dealer for it.
