Trane typically uses swept fin outdoor fan blades to help quiet the outdoor unit, the Run Tru may use standard fan blades, probably a different compressor brand and type than Trane, possibly even a different outdoor fan motor. You would have to ask for the standard features of both models. Looks like the Run Tru has both a high and low pressure safety switch which is a nice feature, but you can confirm that with the bidding Contractor. What is the labor warranty of the Run Tru compared to the Trane.
What is the AHRI number of the Run Tru and Trane to compare efficiency ratings and BTU ratings.
Both brands look to have a 10 year manufacturing warranty once registered.
The coil or Air Handler on the Run Tru may have a piston metering device on some entry tier line models and a TXV type may be optional and field installed, whereas the Trane uses TXV installed at the factory.
The nicer the nice the higher the price..
