I have a Lennox heat pump (ml14xp1) that's been tripping the low pressure lockout for a while now. The heat pump uses an aluminum coil, and it's only 1 years old so I doubt it's because of corrision and a leakage in refrigrant.
I was wondering what other possible causes can a low pressure switch be turned on for? The air filter wasn't cleaned in over a year, so possibly a dirty evaporator coil?
