Does anyone have a charging chart for heat pumps in heating mode?

R410a unit heat pump

Get to call and unit wont turn on. Customer stats unit runs for five minutes with hot air coming out the starts blowing cold. Check all switches and limits. Find the lower pressure switch open. Jump it go see if unit runs and see what the charge looks like. Unit is running 300/80 in heat mode. Indoor temp is 64 and i am getting 91 degree temp air at vents without my heat strips. Outdoor temp is 20 degrees. What do you all think? Low charge? Low airflow? Im green to heat pumps in heating mode

I merged your posts together.

First off, this forum is not for technical help.

Second, you begin by discussing a customer's system, then state it is yours...

So...

Back to my first point, this forum does not discuss technical information.
Sorry.

go down to the top of the pro forum and use the "click here to apply for pro status"

you have a 27 degree rise of temp with out help from the electric heat strips,, with an outdoor temp of 20 degree i would leave the charge alone and look for an electrical control issue

until you get pro status an e-mail in your profile will be help full

Every manufacturer has a different chart depending on seer rating and refrigerant type. It sounds like its a control/safety issue. If your compressor while running stableizes with a low of 80 it doesn't sound like you should be tripping your LPS. I had a 5 ton 410a carrier greenspeed today running at about 3350 rpm with a low of 65 running fine. but thats a modulating system.

I appreciate yall. I just put in a new goodman split same tonnage and seer and this one had the chart that the package unit yesterday did not have on it. So according to it i would have had decent operating pressures. The sent a senior tech out this morning and sad that the actual switch itself was bad. Anyways thanks guys for the help
