Dear HVAC experts,
Please give me an advice on this 3/4 3/8 line set (picture attached). A friend give it to me. Look like it is line set for mini split. Does it work for central HVAC system with air handler and AC condenser that required 3/4 3/8 pipes? Thank you!

There were major issues with that white insulation.

I wouldn’t touch it except for scrap.

Thank you for your response! Could you please give more details about the issues? Do the issues relate to the white insulation or copper pipe quality?
