I don't typically use oval duct.. I usually use a southwark ductalator.

Job i am getting ready to do I need to use some oval. What I am wondering if I am shooting for around 600 fpm, supply side , what static pressure should I be using, to determine cfm availability of 7 in oval vs round. I typically go with .08 on my ductalator to allow for some wiggle room.

What i am guessing if I need a 7 inch round, I should bump up to 8 inch if using oval.

Thanks guys
