Our new neighbor built a modular home with a downflow furnace. Water is dripping out of the duct tee under the furnace.
Does anyone know if this coil is rated for downflow installation?

I can't tell if water is blowing off of the coil, or if the drain is backing up. It was level, so I added a little pitch to the drain. The drain is pex, with copper elbows that seem restrictive. There were also balls of solder in the drain pan, apparently someone uses Staybright 8 for R410A. I also wonder what the pressure drop is across the crappy tee they used.
If the coil turns out to be OK for downflow, I will tell the neighbor to ask the installers to re-run the drain in PVC.
This was my first 'service call' with my lawn tractor as a work truck, and four sons as 'helpers.' They found the neighbor's drum set as I was working.
Thanks
Jason
