It is a common occurrence when an old system that utilized a psc blower is replaced with a new air handler that utilizes an ECM blower without duct modifications.

The psc can’t move its rated amount of air without sufficient ductwork and an ecm will (or will try to the point of failure) move the rated amount of air but will fail prematurely and often will be noisy.

Hi, I previously posted regarding air filters. Are you referring to using this green filter? Thank you.

The green filter will be ok, not great at filtering but when you use the manufactures filter slot in air handlers you have to use a low restriction high velocity filter.
