When I set the temp to 76 on either the unit, wall stat, or remote it will cool to 72 or 73, the condenser will shut off and will not come back on until the temp gets up to 79 or 80. These 6 to 8-degree temp swings are brutal. This just doesn't seem right and very uncomfortable. This is a Cooper & Hunter unit and their tech support is telling me that is how it should work. The other mini splits I owned in the past years held the temperature pretty close. The board and thermisters have been replaced in the cassette and thermisters in the condenser. Is it possible that the board in the condenser has issues or possibly an electrical surge or lightning?
