Not sure if this is the right area to post this question but here goes.
I had a Fujitsu mini split system installed for my two upstairs bedrooms. One heat pump outside the house and in the attic areas off of each bedroom they each have their own air handler.
I have been having problems with the units since install and just learned from the installer that they were "inadvertently" installed upside down. This caused the condensation to not drain into the pan and through the condensate line to the basement but rather drained into the emergency pan which filled and triggered the emergency kill switch. I am not sure how the inside of the unit is designed but the condensation would have also drained onto and through anything which was designed to be above the coils.
My question is this....the install company has committed to come back and correct the problem. Can the units still be used now that they have been run upside down? And also is there anything else of concern that I should be looking for at this point?
Thank you for all your help!!!
