Do non union companies get suspicious when hiring a guy that was at a union shop in fear of him trying to flip the shop?

the union has a program geared to infiltrate non-union shops and do "salting", non-union shops are aware of it and its very difficult for a former union guy to be hire by a non-union shop.

If one goes into a non-Union Trane Building Services branch or a non-Union Emcor branch to begin organizing, is it still salting? Both these companies have signatory branches all over the country.
My understanding is a National signatory, under either a UA National agreement or the NSMA, can have non-Union branches - but only in right-to-work states. My logic says that neither Trane nor Emcor have any type of National agreement as both of them have non-Union branches in non-right-to-work states. Am I correct?

Power-Cooling in LIC is one of the biggest non-union shops and they do major tonnage change outs with big union contracts with service and repairs.back in 2004 the local here tried to get in..just happened also when somebody within PC put up adds in the sunday NYT 3 wants for recip..absorb...chiller/electric drive techs.there exsisting techs are sharp and can handle anything the OEMs cover...wierd situation and they walk into contracts with Local 94 engineers running the buildings. http://www.powercooling.com/
