I live in Arizona and need a fridge I can keep in my garage that gets well over 100 degrees in the summer time. I only have 14 inches of height space so traditional 1.7 cu ft fridges don’t work for me. All of the thermo ones that work size wise advertise 30ish degrees below ambient witch could be cooling to only 80-90 in the summertime. Anyone know of an option that might work. Thank you.

Just go with Absorption verses DX, (imo). Neither one is designed to work in high ambient temps, such as an Arizona Garage in the summer, but especially Not the tiny little peanut pot compressors, as they can get real hot real fast. Check with some of these friends of the earth, hippie places, such as Real Goods, in Ca, and see if they have anything that is made from weed, that may do the job.:LOL:Good Luck, and Please Stand by for More Advice.

Please elaborate lol, I’m a newb that joined solely to ask this question.
Ok, The Absorption system which is likely found in most motor homes and such, and uses a Generator, verses a Mechanical Compressor to Complete the Refrigeration cycle, is Much More forgiving in high Ambient Temps. When i say Generator, i mean the process of heating up, and moving the Refrigerant thru out the system, by a non Mechanical means, such as a flame, or resistance heat. Google Absorption Refrigeration Systems, and you will see it clearer. That's all i have, so again, stand by for more advice, and Good Luck.

Any ideas of where to buy something under 14 inches tall?

For one that tiny, you may need to go with a "Thermoelectric Mini Frig" Cooler, which is available at Amazon, Walmart, Etc. You may need to get two though, if you are a heavy drinker.:grin2::cheers:

PS: If you want to have some fun, custom build your own.....................

You think those thermo electric ones will hold up to 120 temps? They advertise 30 below ambient? 90 degrees doesn’t work for me I don’t need 30 either, but I can’t go above 75
