There are several "regular" contributors to this site. I am trying to get a feel for geographical location, and this would help to expedite that if you can let me know the state your located in. This helps me put your views in perspective.

base your perspective on what you think of people from their geographical location. well as long as it is location, and not race, sexual orentation, political or religious beliefs, i guess it will be all right.

Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas

We don't have basements.
We don't have oil burners.
With the very rare exeption, all residential systems use a 3-4 foot supply plenum with flex duct to the registers.
Most systems are installed in ventalated attics.
Untill very recently, most cities had very poor code enforcement.
Unions mostly all died off in the 70's and 80's.
16+ SEER cooling equipment is a wise investment.
90%+ gas furnaces are a pointless investment.

about an hour East of the mountains. Just as close to Kansas/Nebraska/Wyoming. Small towns out here.

I'm in a constant state of confusion with the rest of the people of Massachusetts. I live in Auburndale a village of Newton Mass. We work all over but mostly Metro West area of Boston.

Long Island (east end) N.Y.,home of high TAXES lots of traffic,nobody going any where in rush hour which is from 5 am to 11pm.But we have great beaches and good looking girls with all their teeth.
