Hi guys.

I have a Lennox I harmony zoning system, recently the old iComfort thermostat(10F81) died and I had to replaced it with the new iComfortS30(19V30) one.
After I replaced it the ZC unit works fine except it doesn't detect the zoning system.
It is connected to the iHarmony Damper Control Module (10C16), there is no any error led showing up in the DCM.
The in zone thermostat is 10c17, and it's connected to the DCM, the zone thermostat led shows that it communicate with the in-zone thermostat with no errors.
The S30 manual says that it should detect the zoning system and add a zoning menu.

I am suspecting the s30 thermostat is not supporting the 10c17 in-zone thermostat, but I have no way to validate it.

I'll appreciate any thoughts or perspective on the issue.
Thanks.

What did the service tech advise when you discussed this situation with him?

I called to Lennox, they didn't let me talk to a service tech (because I am not certified HVAC tech). The representative said it should detect it automatically.

Just went through this with a new zoning system we installed a few weeks ago...

We are not allowed to give out tech information on the forum...

However I can say this: Look carefully at re-setting specific things... grin
(Sorry, cannot get into may more detail)

ga-hvac-tech, thanks for the response.

I have tried to reset the thermostat, and to reset all HVAC equipment. but it seems that it doesn't effect the zoning system.
Is there a way to manually hard reset the zoning system?

Thanks.
