Hey all, looking to get a new air conditioning system put in. We were going to get the Lennox 13acx but it's on back order. They offered us the evcon rac13l30b23s at a package deal for 1000 less. I really have no idea the difference between them. Our house 2600 square feet 4 level split.

Didn't know the Evcon name is being used anymore. Guess it is. One of the many York brands. Biggest negative is York likes to use microchannel coils which are known for more leaks than the fin tube coils most of the industry uses. It is a basic unit but then so is the 13ACX. Evcon is made in USA where 13ACX is Mexican if that's of interest.

Make sure to register your system as you get a 10/10 compressor, parts and coil warranty once registered. Drops to 5/5 including coil if never registered.
