Short answer yes.
Major advantage over the appion hoses is how flexible they are, and they are a little faster.
But after I made them, I was somewhat surprised by the results compared to my Appion Mega Flows.
Tested on 50 lb recovery tank. Tank was in a vacuum at the beginning of each trial. Hoses were connected, and then opened the tank valves, and then loosened the hoses on the pump side to allow air in. Once the air stopped sucking in, then I tightened the hoses, and started the pump with the ballast open until 3000 microns, then closed the ballast.
Pump is a JB Platinum 7cfm
I made two sets of hoses, 1” Kuritec polyspring. One set with straight hose connections, one set with angled hose connections.
Tested to 250 microns
Appion -
run 1 - 5 min 30 seconds
Run 2 - 5 min 17 seconds
Kuritec straight -
Run 1 - 4 min 45 seconds
Run 2 - 4 min 58 seconds
Kuritec Angled both sides
Run 1 - 5 min 30 seconds
Run 2 - 5 min 55 seconds
So - I was a little surprised that the angled Kuritec hoses were the same or worse then the Appions.
So I made the 3/8 pump side connector shorter, and straight.
Then I retested it
- 5 min 2 seconds to 250 microns.

I believe it was the length of the connector that was causing the slow down, not so much the angle.
