Not my install, but went on a local home tour with my wife... this house was in an "Exclusive Gated Community". I can't help it, but I always look at the installs...where would you start?

Looks like the typical job for a track home HVAC co around here.Infact it actually looks better than most. The last one I went to was a 2 zone system for a one story with a frog and they had a 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" black iron reducer holding the bypass damper close.Supply was a nightmare and return was not better.

WTF is that?? u said this is in a exclusive gate community and in a builder's show case? I guess the contractor went with the lowest subbie's bid... that is just ridiculous...

The money probably went into the ****en granite countertops, hardwood floors, and super-inefficient pot lights - nothing left for insulation, good electrical or HVAC equipment.

it's definetly typical new construction or at least in these parts.

The only thing I could see wrong is there's no secondary from coil, no P-trap, flex not strapped, r/a plenums not strapped, gas line not to code, the hard 90's on r/a flex, lack of mastic, furnace standing directly in emergency pan, and primary drain is not insulated nor secured. Other than that it's not that bad of an install:rolleyes:
